I'll stamp all over 'legitimate fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be shown live on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the combatants met personally to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Former two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami venue on December 19th.

Boxer's Mindset

"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."

Civil Exchange

In spite of those words, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather criticized ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Nevertheless, the novice continues to be one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.

Physical Difference

As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is really happening.
