Recently named Women's Tennis Association (WTA) president Valerie Camillo knows about dedicated effort through her career - such as her time on the commercial board for a tourism firm that operates American country music superstar Dolly Parton's tourist attractions.

In addition to the expertise regarding Parton's portfolio, Camillo steps into the top of women's tennis bringing extensive background in sports and media, with past roles in senior leadership posts at the top professional basketball organization, major league hockey and Major League Baseball (MLB).

Camillo commences her tenure at the WTA this November, replacing the outgoing Steve Simon, after his lengthy leadership wraps up upon his departure.
