Football Player Welsh Athlete Ramsey Increases Bounty for Lost Dog in Mexican Territory to £15,000
Welsh soccer player Ramsey has increased the reward for leads regarding the missing canine named Halo to $$20k.
Ex- Arsenal and Cardiff midfielder, who currently is with Pumas UNAM in the capital, revealed that the beagle was last seen in San Miguel de Allende, located in the Guanajuato state area.
Halo, who went missing on 9 October, was had on a GPS collar, and Ramsey shared a exact coordinates of the spot she vanished from.
"Any information about our beloved Halo kindly get in touch with us. Significant reward for reuniting with her. We are all hoping she's ok and can be back with us quickly," Ramsey shared on Instagram.
Earlier Reward and Emotional Pleas
The footballer first revealed that his dog had disappeared 14 days prior and has subsequently posted numerous images of the cherished canine on his social media account.
A $$10k bounty was originally provided, but with absence of information on the dog's location after a week, the player and his family increased the reward.
"All we desire is our girl returned," he expressed in a further plea on his online platforms after the elderly pet disappeared.
The latest image upload is a black and white photo of Halo napping, its head lying in the crook of the athlete's elbow, with the message: "How I wish to hold you one last time sweet Halo."
Family's Concerns and Background
The footballer has additionally shared a statement from his spouse Colleen on online channels indicating they have some "serious queries" about the disappearance and are concerned the household "may never get clarity".
"We have yet to have not located Halo. I fear we will ever," his wife's update expressed.
The Wales leader became part of Mexico's first division club Pumas UNAM in recent months and had his debut in the Mexican league in August.
